Food, shows, growing and flu... FUN!!!
Howdy all!
Well, what an interesting fortnight.
Leo is growing fast. My little man is growing too fast. I want him to stop. I want him to shrink and be a teeny tiny little bubba!!! I've certainly noticed the growth spurt. It's making me sad haha.
Went to my first cat show last weekend. Saw a couple of coonies. One was similar colouring to Leo. His mum let me have a cuddle. 18month old, 7kg poly boy. Paws were MASSIVE!!! Body was MASSIVE!!! I am seriously in awe every time I see a coonie. I have to keep reminding myself I have one. Then I wish he would stay a bubba hahahaha my Leo is the sweetest little man. I hope he stays just as sweet as he grows.
Speaking of size, his stomach is the size of an elephant. I have to keep an eye on him because he wolfs down his food then goes for the other two cats bowls. He's a little guts. The noise he makes when he knows it's feeding time is adorable. My older boy is vocal at dinner time but nothing like Leo. He's actually quite loud. He's got a big meow on him!!!
We've also had a bout of cat flu spread through the house.
Started off with my older boy. Thought it was allergies until he got better and Leo got it. Took them to the vet, loaded up on antibiotics and eye cream. Leo got better and now my older girl is getting it. Luckily it wasn't the calisi one with all the mouth ulcers. Just the standard sneezing and watery eyes.
My little snufflers. Have spent the last 3 weeks covered in cat snot.
Anyone else experienced cat flu? I hate having sick babies :(

I haven't had cat flu but my girls were really poorly last week with D&V. Was very very worried, Poif was hit worst and didn't eat or drink for 3 days!! Almost took them to the vets but, despite the fact they were making vile messes out of either end, they were both still playful with pink gums. At the weekend they went to Cornwall to stay with my parents while I went to a wedding and they seemed to pick up then. Must have been the Cornish air!!
They are back on the food now, and they are starving!!
