Meet Ruby Blue....

She is having a "not sure" day but I suppose having great big bruvs trying to look after you is a bit of a worry,if she hides up Welly will find her & just lay beside her hidey hole & when he comes off duty Shimba takes over guard duty so she is not really having a chance to find her paws.We shut all the others away this afternoon & she came out for a good playtime & then went mountaineering over the furniture so on her own she is very confident.Have just let the other cats out & she has now took up the hissing stance,except for Monday morning I haven't got to go to work until Thursday afternoon & then hubby will be at home so hopefully over the next few days we will see a difference,mind you haven't had to worry about xmas tree being attacked yet....!

The hiding upstairs sounds familiar. Little Minnie did that a few times for the first couple of days. But when she understood meals are served in the kitchen, she was upstairs less and less. :LOL:

I expect it won’t be long before Ruby’s Tortitude wil start showing and she will make the place her own.

Btw, how’s little Pansy P reacting to the intruder? Girls can be a bit more 'catty' about these things than boys.

She looks such a determined little thing there. Her eye colour looks amazing in this photo xx

Hi Antonia at the moment Pansy P is trying to pretend Ruby is not about but the odd time they have come face to face today Pansy has done her grow tall exercises to impress but already Pansy P seems more confident in her self which is great because she went right into a shell when we lost China so thats one good thing that has come out of the "What have I done" syndrome...x

Her mum has startling bright green eyes so if Ruby takes on just some of it I will be more than happy....x

A lovely day with our new babe,she had fun with the two bruvs this morning & even Pansy P came & joined in,after wearing all the others out she decided she would pose for daddy to take her picture. Apart for the one incident when I thought she might go up the middle of the xmas tree she has been very good keeping herself entertained & going around like a purr machine,has all my worry been for nothing ....!

Sorry everyone camera has now been put away but couldn't resist these of the midget being washed by one of the largest furries in the house,did not think we would be getting this so soon but she loved it...x
