I just love your tree topper! That is hilarious! That is exactly what I don't want to happen. I just hope that Tequila and Maya won't be that adventureous. But you never know.

Sorry can't be of use here,we have no stairs so haven't had to try & find an answer to that one, adding very quickly "Thank Goodness" but it does look like it will be holly picking again this year unless the breeder has done a good job of densensitizing Ruby before she comes,oh yes there might be a houseful of cats & seven kittens but she will still have put the tree up....
Never thought of telling the other five that Ruby is a christmas present, just have a feeling that would be one present where they not only played with the paper more but would keep that & throw the gift away, hmmmm, might give it a try though....xxx

Jackie at the moment I'm open to all ideas!! To say Freddie is exploring his world is an understatement!!!
All the remotes have teeth marks in them and Daddy's iphone has been introduced to the hairdryer a couple of times to dry the drool out so people can hear him on it!!!!

I think LilyC could have started what is going to become rather a long thread here,by the time people have reported their trees ups & downs, not necessarily only the once during the xmas period & all the brainy ideas on how to stop the cats becoming the fairy at the top of the tree we should be able to write a book for next year, new bestseller for cat owners coming up....
I am going to send away for one of those tracks that Peter bought his boys as I know Welly would luv it,he still plays with his baby toy where he can just manage to get the tip of his paw in & knock the ball so banking on him & Ruby getting very friendly over that, also had to put some new mice made of string onto their santas list, they are brilliant for hooking a claw in & then hurling them down the corridor as hard as you can, they stand quite a bit of stick but Wellys drowning them in the water dish when he is fed up has led to their demise one by one & of course cat nip meeces to drool over & some Dreamies {thanks to certain people on here who mentioned them all cats luv them}oh & some new bouncy balls, can only find two & both have got dents in them so the cats are a bit put out that bounceabilty has departed, another two somewhere but no amount of under chair hunting has brought them to light & already got but waiting for xmas day a whole new set of bedding for the Tigga Tower tree, instead of a cushion this time in the lower basket though it is a round bed that fits in,think Pansy P will love that,at the moment think that is the end of my cats list but then have daughter two cats & dog to think about plus their koi carp fish, musn't forget them as they always come over to see me when I visit & already sitting in the shed waiting to go & big sack of wild bird seed their garden is a haven for them & I just love sitting in their conservatory bird spotting.....!
If there is any money left over might buy something for the two legged persons but...xLast edited by jckkerrison; 24th November 2011 at 12:11 PM.

Helen & John - How about wrapping your tree in tin foil for decorations? LOL! That might keep Freddie off the tree.
Thanks candes for your list. Of course, Maya will be the biggest pressie for Tequila and Forest. They'll get her as an early Christmas present.
I went all over town and into the USA looking for a cat tunnel that has a larger diameter of 20cm (8 in). All the tunnels I found had a max of 20 cm for the diameter. I really don't think they thought of MC's when manufacturing them. I think Tequila would get stuck. Anyone have recommendations for tunnels?
