yes i was having a really crap day untill i went to pick her up and OH MY she is WOW grew so much in 2 weeks and not only did i gain a kitty i gained a really nice friend, she was more than i had hoped for and very reluctant to even let her go (shes a huge animal lover like myself) so bonus!! i cant describe the euphoria i feel right now but the kitty is perfect in every way, shes very shy but coming round rather quicker than i thought and definately can tell the difference in persona compared to a moggy she seems so laid back to the stress lol...im so happy to have her home x

Congrats on your new forever friend
Hope to see photos and stuff soon!
Good arent they
Depending on how brave / foolish / childish you are, here is something I did recently. The final image in your mind is priceless imo
1) Lay on the floor with your head on its side.
2) Point the laser dot as far away as you can.
3) Gain the cats attention
3) Now bring it to within an inch of your face.
I have this image of Storvenn getting BIG very quick and then the last thing I saw before I flinched and closed my eyes was of him pouncing. He didnt hit me, but I felt his fur flash across my face!
Childish, yea. But hey.. I got a memory of him up close in full pounce mode!

well its day 4-5 now for us and she has came on great i have been doing all the bribing with food etc and shes playing with toys, eating regularly, coming when i cal her name and chirp at her, shes purring like mad and echoing her loud meow all over the house when i leave the room lol, and today we made some progress with meeka (shes a tortie so very tempramental she is only just tolerating the new arrival)
lol i have a litter kwitter for meeka and kiara is the only one thats used it lol shes very adventrouse for being quite shy...i think by the end of the week i shall see my shy little maine coon blossem <<< might change her name hahaha!!
anyways ive uploaded 2 pics so far to my gallery my camera is rubbish so the only place i can get a good bit of light to get a good pic is in the kitchen lol so ill get a new one soon x

She sounds like she is settling in well Shelly. Lovely that she is coming to her name - Simba is more bonded with my daughter than me I think, he cries when she leaves the room. Perhaps Kiara will teach the other how to use the litter tray! Clever girl. The photos are lovely too - just taken a look.

Oh wow! She is lovely! You must be a very proud parent! We tried the laser pen yesterday and Fudge loved it!! My floors have new scratch marks on them but that's nothing compared to the fun she had and we had watching her! Enjoy your little bundle of fun!
