Reading about Merlyn gives me some reassurance that my Kenny is normal for a Maine Coon! I can just imagine the scene when you found him.

I apologise if Buddy has been sending messages to other cats but ..... I know how you feel Jackie and they are the chicken ones I believe; far worse with cheese or duck ones (oh Hector?) When my rebel does this he gets no dinner and I shut him out of the bedroom ......... I also leave a litterbox down as he would block the loo :s (ok so I get out of bed and feed him and he manages to open the door and get back on my bed :L )
Naughty cats ...... ok I sniggered xxx

Dreamies are to cats what coachies are to dogs!!! I have tried for years to find out what canine narcotic (sp) are in them as my friends goldie goes mad for them and will do anything just for one of them and they are tiny!!!
BTW if anyone has been to crufts and their well trained dog has suddenly tried to follow a strange man theres a good chance Steve from the company of animals who walks around with a pocketful of them on occasion lol

Oh dear, the poor lad, doing that to himself, will he learn? Bet he won't! I can't imagine you being cross with them, Jackie!
BTW, I was at my vet's earlier (OAP Barney went for a check-up, he's doing OK) and they had the Dreamies advent calendar for sale, £3.95! Isn't that a great idea? Then you could ration them out, one per day! But you'd need 5 or it wouldn't be fair.....

I have tears streaming down my face - too funny! But I am shaking in my boots at the thought of the Dreamies advent calendar - what evil person thought of that one??

Ok Candes here he is at this moment in time, don't know that it shows belly off too well but he has already had two good poos & then getting in the tray for a third so tum must be deflating. We have been out this evening & he was still laying in the exact same place on our return so don't think he has been up to waddling too far, normally he would go & use the tray in the outside pen so think the flap must still be restricting him, don't know the last time he has even asked to go for a pee inside, his belly does feel softer now though which is good.Wet food only for him tonight & then not full ration.
Dreamies calander that sounds good Howlinbob but as you say five would be a bit extreme so perhaps will have to pass on that one,so pleased Barney passed his MOT bless him.
Buddy it was you who got them onto the Dreamies so this is all your fault & as for Deddies pinching the prawns in garlic me thinks there are going to be more smelly trays tomorrow in your house too & Helen going by this third delivery from Merl its OH turn to shit shovel tomorrow....
Still luv him though, starting to feel a little bit sorry for him now but I know he won't have learnt by it his eyes have always been bigger than his tum !
