Accidents and soft stools. my life! my life!
Well, it's all go here. The boys are not feeling the human toilet, or at least one of them. But as I suspect it's Leo and he is being so sweet and apologetic for the "accidents" that I then clean it up, clean him up as necessary and give them all treats; Only read on if you have a strong stomach and are not eating - but then OTOH we are all MC slaves, so we know what's going on, eh?
Monday morning I get woken at 4:42am (precisely, I checked the clock) by Leo jumping the bed and giving me a little "meow?" - he was fine but next to the toilet was a rather large deposit which was not a simple "miss" but more like a deliberate thing. Then I come home and someone has been and dumped in the bath and tried to cover it with a towel that was draped over the side. Lots of apologies and all three demonstrated to me, while I was cleaning, how they *are* able to jump on the loo and use it. The look of naughty-free guilt on the trio was heart-string-tugging. This is also in addition to the haidball "sausage" in my bedroom doorway. Sigh, if I didn't love them like children...
Anyway, this morning we had three proper, if variable consistency, deposits so let's hope it's all an accident. See below!
QUESTION TIME:
In the meantime I have been varying their food, mixing tins and they have also been on various dry foods for a week at a time, so there is at least one obvious potential cause, but any other ideas why they are having mixed consistency poos? The tins are all high quality (Bozita, Schmussy, Smilia and somr grain-free Butchers Classic) and the dry also (currently Animonda Vom Felstein Delux or whatever) and week-long experiments with single variety diets is not changing things - only white fish "fixes" things for a while. Boiled chicken tonight I think.
Apart from finding one food and sticking to it, will worming maybe help ? I have missed their 12 month tablets as I can't find the final dose (calling the vets in a mo) and they have been going outside for a few weekends now...
