I can't quite cope...
...with all these gorgeous pictures of gorgeous maine coons!
I coo over them like anything, I think if George Clooney walked past whilst I was looking at some of these cats I wouldn't even notice... (Actually I'm not that much of a fan, so probably wouldn't anyway, but you catch my drift!)
What's your favourite bit?
I think for me it's the shape of their jaw - I like to call it their 'pouchy bits' hehe. I guess it's what makes them look like lions, they look so amazing when they are so defined....
Close second is the lovely huge paws!....

oh good question i would say its the tiger look of the large brown tabby ones and the size they reach when full grown, their slanted eyes, lynx tips and their trilling sounds lol xx

her eyelashes, she has darker longer hair just above her eyes, sometimes it looks like she is frowning- they say a lot about her mood

They really are the most beautiful cats. I personally don't think any come a close second. I think it's the whole package though, looks and personality. Do love that tail though! When my husband first saw one a few years ago I hadn't heard of them and so looked them up on you tube. This video is why I fell in love with them and why I love the colour I chose. His name is Leo and I thought then and still do he is so beautiful.

Difficult to photograph, but when you know they are working something out & you can see the intelligence across their eyes. It amazes me.

I love all the photos I've seen... I fall more and more in love with this breed the more I look into them.
I love the tail, and the snowshoe feet and the ruff... basically the whole look about them.
I can't wait to get my boy.

I love some of the descriptions here - 'snouts' and 'snowshoe feet', lovely!
