First night without him... :(
Hello all,
Just wanted to share my thoughts on Christmas... IT STINKS!!!
I'm going to my Uncles from today (24th) and coming home on the 28th. All three cats went to the cattery last night and it was the first night I've had without my MC since I got him as a baby in August this year.
My heart is aching :(
It's cruel that I don't get to spend his first Christmas with him.
Life isn't fair...

I know it STINKS doesn't it? Any chance of kitnapping them from the cattery and take them to Uncles and pretend they we're stowaways?
We're just going to our friends place locally and I really want to take both of our with us but unfortunately they have a big german shepherd that don't like kitties. We're definitely cutting the evening short to come home to our babies.

In the past when I travel for work I always left my cat/cats at home where they were most comfortable and had co-workers/friends/pet-sitters come buy several times a day.

I've been sad all day. Called the cattery and was advised the 3 cats are very quiet and keeping to themselves (which means MISSING THEIR MUMMY!!!)
My uncle lives 7.5hrs drive south of where I live and I decided to drive down this Xmas. Didn't want to put kitties through unnecessary time in the car. Plus, my uncle has 3 dogs (2 x English staffies and my 9 month old American staffy) and a DS cat (who is an angel) and 3 turtles so the addition of my 3 to the house might prove to be a bit much.
Haha amusing story for you all... Was watching my dog drink from my uncles water feature/pond today. I commented on how they must have to keep topping it up more than usual with the dog drinking out of it. My uncle told me they started off with about 8 fish and they are now down to 2 because my dog seems to 'drink' them when he's gulping the water. Funny thing is the water feature/pond is super deep and comes up to your waist (meaning the dog can only just reach his head over the side to drink). The fish also hang around at the bottom so how he's doing it is weird. He should be a cat. Seems he has his kitty hunting skills down pat!!!
