Darling little boy. I love the color--we considered it but ended up red instead. Sounds like a normal kitten. They don't eat much at one time at that age. Just wait, though, because when he is just a bit older he will probably be a pig. Our males by around 16weeks were starting to eat unbelievable amounts of food for such small animals. Between 5 and 6mos. they will grow very rapidly and eat all the time.

Thank you - that's comforting to know. Just fed him his 5pm feed and he had salmon and loved it - he couldn't wait to get to the bowl which was lovely and I'd say he ate a bit more than a teaspoon - hurray! He has had a lot of visitors today and is quite exhausted now I think

Claire, I just uploaded them to photobucket and then copied and paste the img code. I still haven't worked out how to use the albums though which is why my photos are in my post

I feel we have made huge progress today with the dogs and Simba! This morning Simba decided he wasn't frightened of the dogs anymore and cried persistently to be let out of his room. We have been doing this now and again when I have the dogs on a lead. I gave in eventually. Simba has learnt that he only has to look at Maggie and she runs a mile so he walks out of his room feeling very big I think. He is so funny. This evening Elsa and him actually played and I got a snap shot - though not very good. Elsa has learnt that if she lays down low Simba will come towards her - clever girl. When she puts her nose close Simba pats her nose very gently with his paw - so sweet to see them. Maggie is getting there but more slowly as she is more nervous so will take a bit longer I think. But very pleased by the progress so far.
