Introducing our kitten!
Well, we got to visit our breeder and meet our kitten. We had reserved a "blue male" from the litter of 7, so we got to choose between a blue classic tabby ("Brad Pitt") and blue-silver classic tabby ("George Clooney"). All of the kittens' call names were Academy Award nominees from this year.
When we arrived and were introduced to the litter, we spotted the two blues immediately. One seemed a little skittish, but the other waltzed right over to me -- sniff, sniff -- and then to my husband -- another round of sniffing -- and he stayed to play with us for the next hour.
While George the blue-silver was very cute, our little guy will be blue Brad, and his new name is Perkins. He's only 6 1/2 weeks in these pictures, so we'll have him home at the end of next month!
And now, the pictures!!
(For reference, my family has always named MCs after some of our favorite places in Maine. This little guy is named after Perkin's Cove)

Well he looks cute. We seem to have a soft spot for "Blues", 2 of our girls are blue tabbies and the one boy is blue & white.

Yes, everyone's been commenting on his paws! He'll certainly grow into them... looks like will have a classic "MC Monster" on our hands :D

Ohhh we can't wait to bring him home! 5 more weeks until we can have him. Thanks so much for the compliments everyone, we'll be sure to post more pictures when we have them. In the meantime, we're working on kitten-proofing and counting down the days!
