Introducing Thistleglen Magic, Thistleglen Harris & Kora
Hello all,
I thought I would join the forum and introduce myself and my 'Coons. Mr name is David and I live in the Dundee area with my two Maine Coons, Magic and Harris; my Bengal, Kora; and my partner. Magic is six years old now, Kora is two and a half, and Harris is just over four months.
Magic and Harris came from Thistleglen Maine Coons here in Dundee whom I would highly recommend. Even after six years I was still in contact with Felicity to discuss Magic and his development. This made choosing a breeder for our new kitten very easy; it had to be Thistleglen. Kora came from Gayzette Bengals up in Mintlaw Aberdeenshire.
Magic is a very loyal, gentle boy, who is my best friend. Most of the time he can be found on my legs sleeping. At night he will climb onto our bed and demand stroking. If denied he pushes his paw onto your check until you comply. Normally he will settle and cuddle up to me all night. In fact he loves an arm around him, just like a human does.
Kora is a typical Bengal. Very vocal, full of energy and a little mad - although she has been settling slightly as she advances in age. She has various tricks such as fetch, and pulling on the kitchen fan cord to turn it on providing much amusement for us.
Harris is my partner's cat and we bought him a few months after her old lad had to be put to sleep. Harris was born around Christmas time last year and we collected him just weeks ago. As we live close by to Thistleglen we were able to visit a few times therefore getting to know him, and he us. A very loveable boy he is and can be found most days chasing Kora, or playing fetch with his ball. He is a real purr machine and we're certain he is going to be a very loveable, lazy lad as he matures.

they are a stunning brood ...i love bengals just couldnt provide the time and energy that they require but think they are the most stunning looking cats ...after MCs of course lol

Yes Bengals are a bit of a handful to be fair. That said, I believe depending on which lines you choose to buy from can make a huge difference to personality.

Hi and a warm welcome to the forum! Lovely pictures of your brood! I also come from the Dundee area but I had not known about Thistleglen until today. I'll enjoy browsing their site

I've actually been trying to keep all three out of my kitchen cupboards this evening as I was trying to clean them. Just as one is being fetched out another steps in.......
