We have been doing the same as YvonnePhoto and extending our cat run, hence our absence. We now have an extra 4m x 5m extension to our run. it includes a pond with a waterfall decking, grass and lots of ramps for Little Dot to get around. Also plenty of room for Coonie number 6 who is arriving in August!!

Oh wow, that is the mother of all cat runs - it's fabulous! Must make sure our three don't see this, or they'll be packing their suitcases and you'll have an 8 Coonie and 1 Birman household! :)

Quick question about that pond actually, is it wired up with a pump or just left to naturally balance the water with aerating plants and stuff? Asking because I want a water feature and have been looking at the solar powered ones so dont have to worry about too much cabling.... but open to ideas and options, as would much prefer something more 'natural' looking.
Yvonne, the pond has a low voltage pump, which tops up the header pond from a submerged tank at the base of the waterfall. I used all low voltage wiring for the pond and lighting in the run as the furries love to chew through cables!!
The pond and waterfall are cast resin and are availible from most garden centres who stock ponds. I have no experience with solar powered pumps, but would reccomend you pick a good quality one with batteries that are easy to replace and source. Some of my cheaper solar lights only lasted 2 seasons due to battery problems!
