Very wise decision to keep him indoors. He'll be fine as long as he has enough toys, a cat tree or two for climbing, and... a furry playmate.

Do you have some kind of outside space such as a balcony? Then you can secure it with mesh or netting so he can get a bit of fresh air and do some bird watching.
