Nearly a heart attack and a trip to the vets for Basil
So Basil and I were watching some fireworks. He was loving them next thing he slips off the window sill and falls down. I rush over to the other side where he is and there he was..........Lying on his side with his leg dislocated. To my horror I couldn't think of anything else but vet bills (our other cat nearly lost his leg last year in a car accident and it cost a lot) I couldn't stop shaking I rushed to my fiancè and said its his leg its dislocated help me. I held him on his side and made sure he wasn't trying to move more. My fiancè held his leg straight and managed to pop it back in the socket.
Looking at where he fell it looks like he has hit the radiator while on the way down its a chunky gas radiator its giving me a few nasty brusies.
Overall Basil is back to himself running around just making sure he is not climbing or jumping.
I have never felt such a panic I am still shaking.
