Thread: USA: giant litter box for cheap

We have gotten fed up with the smaller of our litter boxes (called a giant box, but for MCs it is not). The cats seem to often have their butts right against the side when they poop, meaning the boxes do not stay that clean. Decided to get another one of the giant Petmate pans that have worked so well. However, that pan is now $32+ on Amazon (we paid low $20's), so Googled it and found that Walmart.com has it now for $8! It says "new" on the item, so I suspect it is mispriced. However, this might be a good chance for a MC owner in USA to pick one up cheap before "poor" Walmart catches on. It was such a good deal we bought three actually. These are the largest (area) boxes I have found. They are around 35" x 20". The only negative is the height of the sides, which is around 9" in back/sides and bit lower in front (still higher than most plastic storage boxes of similar area). This box easily accommodates our 18lbs male. He never uses the other pans for his solid business anymore, so clearly he does not like feeling cramped. I highly recommend it for MCs.
