He also has nice big paws which I didn't capture in the pictures. Since he got over his upper respiratory infection he's more active late morning and late evening, about 8am and 9pm. When he gets into his "psycho cat" mode he swats and bites, so we just try to play with him; though he gets a bored really fast even with the abundance of different toys. We're on the search for new different types of toys.
I've had my mom's dog over several times, a Yorkie, at first the dog was way to interested in getting in Leo's face so he got swatted at a few times. Now they just leave each other alone. We're hoping kittens will help alleviate his boredom and his biting. He almost seems to not really know how to fully play with toys, hopefully kittens can help him figure that out too.

oh! oh! I have discovered something when I was looking after Lili in France - she is very small, not a MC, not sure if you've followed the story, Brims, a kitty kat I found in a tree in my mum's garden coz apparently that's how they grow now.
Anyway, she tended to bite - she was teething I think and very playful, since she is so small it doesn't hurt one bit - but obviously we wanted her to get out of this habit when she grew up - so one day my Mum put the finger Lili was biting a bit deeper in her mouth, blocking her from closing her mouth - she did that twice, Lili didn't bite her any more - then I picked up Lili and she tried to bite me playfully - so I did the same and voila, no more bitage!

I'll try giving that a shot, he mainly goes for the hand rather than fingers but I might be able to get something to work. Thank you for the hint.
He's gotten me several times with his teeth, only 1 time did it leave a mark, althought it wasn't much of a mark. He'll just be sitting there normally, you go to pet him and he gets you.

Ahhh Maybe you are getting in his personal bubble? Us humans can be very touchy feely hahaha I love to play with Ginger, only after some nice head pets. Then I go in for a belly rub and the play begins She is very gentle with the hubby and a little more aggressive with me, probably because she knows she will get away with it. He is a little heavier handed so she licks him and does not bite. Course he does feed her breakfast every day. Never bite the hand that feeds you.
