Hmmm you seem to have had an invasion of alien cats lol!!! Love the pictures she is a gorgeous girl, those eyes would keep you mesmerized for hours

I just mean that I don't think I've seen a MC with those markings before - black with splashes of color - this being said I'm not an expert and I've never even gone to any shows, I have mostly met tabbies, or all black or all white or all grey... anything else than that seems unusual to me

Hi Kimbie your girl Rommy is a super example of a solid black tortie & she is not getting lighter it is just the red comes through stronger as they get older which makes it appear that way,have just added photos of Ruby who is a black smoke tortie & you can see what I mean,at 3 months except for her chin divide you can't pick up any real red & even at 15 months it wasn't too strong but now at just over 2yrs it is appearing quite strong which in turn has made her appear a lot different in colour.
Just love your girl she is really striking & please don't leave it so long before you put up more photos of her & as for boxes they are a MC's favourite play box/hidey hole.....xxx
