I just wanted to say hello as ive just joined the site! :smile:

I got my first maine coon on Thursday evening aged 12 weeks and he is so adorable! Hes a little silver blue tabby and seems to be settling in quite well so far! I let my other half decide on a name (which i am now regretting!!!) and so he is called Lionel...as it means little lion lol!

I also have 3 british shorthairs so decided to go for a change and get a maine coon as i just love big cats!

Hope to try and get on here as often as i can any tips would be good, but hopefully i shoudl be ok already owning 3 cats but if anybody can think of any useful informaiton please let me know! :smile:

Now i need to have a look at some of all your lovely cats!! xxx

oh my Gosh soooo adooooorable! (the name Lionel is fun - I do kind of regret calling mine Neevie, it seems a bit strange now I think about it :rofl:)
he is going to be sooo handsome when he grows up! love his colouring... and that little nose...
I think you'll find, MC compared to cats, whole'nother kettle of fish - but also really not that different - it feels like they're cats with slightly bigger brains really, and personality.
Some use their brains to just make us do what they want us to - like Neevie, who has me wrapped around her little claw so tight she doesn't even need to use her brains for much else really.
Anyway - welcome to the forum! Sure you'll enjoy being a MC slave too! ;-)

Ha ha i did like Lionel at first but now im not too sure as it makes me think of Lionel Blair lol! I like the name Neevie its different and i like different! I love Neevie's face! xx
