I just love the picture. Was someone's sleep disturbed? Our Whiskey kitty gets into everything too. Especially the laundry basket filled with clean clothes.
heehee so cute!
BUT I have to say, I have a recurring nightmare: I close the wishing machine not realising Neevie is in there, and then find her suffocated inside (no air in this thing apparently) - the thing is she's never even been remotely interested by the washing machine, thank God! - still I check every time I close it just in case, this feeling in the nightmare is just too.... too... uch....
CatsMom - same here, I couldn't find Dixie the other day & she'd snuck into a drawer and gone to sleep on my clean clothes! Alekto, me too - my brother's kitten was very sadly killed after being put into the dryer with a pile of wet washing. Hugely traumatic for their family, I'd never even met the kitten & just hearing about it gave me nightmares. I now check and double check. I know damn well they aren't in the washer, but I still have to make sure I can see them both before I switch it on!
oh I'm so glad it's not just me PandK! makes me feel slightly less paranoid! :-D
PS: so horrible about your brother's kitten.... :-(
Mandy loves clean laundry!! She will bury herself in a basket of clean clothes and sometimes you'll get a furry surprise in the morning! Her other favorite place is DH's sock drawer. He leaves it open for her all the time so she has a place to make a "Coonie nest" :-)
We just got a front loading washer and dryer set, and I've been even more careful about keeping the doors closed. Even though none of our furkids have ever gone near them, all it takes is that one time! These also have child safety locks when they are running so none of the human kids can mess with them or leave them open.
I met a cat who'd gone through an entire cycle in the washing machine. I don't know how the cat survived, but she did (although her owner said she was...not quite right... after the incident).
Oliver isn't interested in clean clothes, but since he was a kitten he's LOVED dirty clothes. He'd get super excited when I'd sort the laundry out, rolling around in the piles. He loves the dirty laundry basket as well. Attachment 7462Attachment 7463
LOL "oy, always with the waking up! close that lid down and let me sleep already!" (sorry can't help doing the dubbing ... :-P)
Mine get in the laundry basket too. Beau pulled the lid down on himself a few weeks ago - Dixie tried to help but couldn't work out that she needed to get OFF the lid before either of them would be able to lift it up lol!
