My cat drinks out of the toilet...
... I have a 4 month old German Shepherd and a 4 year old Golden Retriever who both drink out of the toilet. Today I caught my 4 year old recently adopted cat drinking out of the toilet also. She has a perfectly good water bowl that is always full but I guess she is imitating the dogs, I caught her today

well, I mean it's so much more interesting to drink that water, though, isn't it? I mean if you had a choice, wouldn't you rather?
mine doesn't touch her water bowl, she waits till we open the tap and then she has to have her share of that....

Oooh busted!!! Lol! Bengal Brat is a water kitty and sits on the side of the tub when I take a bath. She's fallen in a few times, once while the kids were in there-which they thought was hysterical!! She also waits outside the shower and has to go in the shower stall and sit there, I think she likes to steam her fur like its her personal sauna. My Coonies lack the classic Coon interest in water, probably never exposed to it as kittens I'm guessing. Mandy doesn't mind a bath but you wouldn't find her intentionally getting close to water either.

Whiskey prefers every water source but his own bowl. He partakes in the occasional toilet drink if someone forgets to put the lid down. You cannot leave a drinking glass full of liquid out as he will knock it down trying to get the beverage out. A running tap means running paws trampling everything in his way to get a drink. It is a rare treat to see him actually drink from his water bowl which we keep a nice supply of fresh cool water in.
