Oh dear, not great. I am happy that I have taken her now.

She actually has tonsillitis and laryngitis and she has, as suspected, an eye infection from a scratch on the inner eyelid (probably an optimistic infection). Not good news, but it explains a lot. Last night she used her litter box properly so if she was having troubles the vet says she isn't now. She's had her first dose of painkillers and antibiotics. She is a lot better than she was, but hopefully this will start to show improvement within the week. If not it's back to the vet to get further testing.

I am now quite angry, surely the breeder would know that her cats were not very well. When we first got Cpt. Nemo he did show signs (that I can only see now looking back) of being not quite well. Shortly after we got him we all got ill - flu for me and the other half, a cat that preferred to sleep on the cold lino than on anything comfy and then Wicker took that turn. If it is viral I'd say she is almost at the end of it and just have to clear up the lingering infections. I think whatever Nemo had has cleared up, am going to take him for a check up anyways to be on the safe side, although he had been vet checked and they are all up to date on vaccinations. :S

I've apologised at her kitty feet for thinking she was just being stroppy, hopefully after all this Wicker and Nemo will get along with few problems.
