Mine sit at the window & chitter away, sometimes it is at the wildlife or other cats going past & sometimes it is at people who have stopped to say hello so I wouldn't be worried....xxx

Mandy's "normal face" has been described as grumpy too!!! Merlin's isn't much better, since he's an old boy and squints a lot (probably has cataracts starting) he always looks a little "out of it". Mandy doesn't give her happy face to just anyone, and it's special when her eyes light up and she starts giving you a full-body rubdown! Mandy's sister is feral and will live the rest of her life at the rescue shelter (both girls were taken from an abandoned house/hoarding situation). We are not sure how Mandy turned out fine but her sister did not, I'm guessing some kind of trauma. But when Mandy goes outside or encounters a new person, her pupils dilate, her ears go back, and she takes off running like the wind! So there's a little bit of "wild" in her.
It took me a while to get used to Merlin's "classically handsome" MC face, very square and masculine. We've got more workers at the house today and he started chattering to them and giving lovey-eyes. They're not construction workers, they're more slaves to give Merlin petting and treats LOL!
