    Oh YAK!

It would have to be today Louie has finally worked out how to get through the dog flap into the yard & its chucking it down & he is sitting on the kitchen window singing away congratulating himself on his big achievment he is soaked

Could be worse I suppose at least its not 3am & he has'nt wormed his way under our quilt to let us know its raining like Milo used to, what is it with MC's & water

    Oh YAK

I think their love of water comes under the classification "Making Mums Screech" & getting a response from us.
I class a wet mouth dribbling down your ear & neck as minor such as "lovely, have you just had a drinkies",wet paw to go with it "Lovely but did you have to dabble your paw in it as well" but the best one which does get the "Yak"response is drinking at the water fountain with two front feet round the dome so water flows over head, front, both front feet & legs soaked, then go & find mum,if in chair resulting comment can be classed as passable,if in bed then unprintable especially if two of them have been playing in it together
but that is why we luv the MC's & their love of water but not when the duvet has to be changed at bedtime....!

You would think they wouldn't want to go out in the rain wouldn't you. Simba hasn't managed to get out yet but we don't have a dog flap. We do have a work surface by the back door and the other day Simba was on it when I let the dogs out - Simba made a dive for the gap in the door and I literally caught him in mid flight - he was so cross with me! so now I have to make sure he is not on the side when I open the door. He seems determined though and I'm not sure it will be long before he makes his escape

To be honest I thought he would have been out there ages ago but he likes to sit on the inside of it & stop the dogs geting back in or any of the pensioners who have been brave enough to battle the elements the yard is cat proofed so they can go out when they like, but may change that at night if this continues he used to sit in the dogs water bowl but is to big to fit in it now thankful for small mercys

    Oh YAK

You have been lucky harrymc,we have been overcast & odd showers most of the day,but guess what, sun shone at tea time, typical, cats didn't mind though they have been able to wander but if weather had been great we would have hit the garden centers & they would be in their pen, think its classed as the cloud with a silver lining, for them anyway.

Not really lol, I spent my day doing housework ! Yuk ! We did pop over to Pets at home, spent a small fortune on food and goodies for Harry though. One of which was a harness, well now that's another story ! think I'll be starting a new thread asking for help, complete nightmare !
