Thread: Messy eater!

The trick is to get a bowl deep enough to contain the mess AND wide enough to accommodate those long, bushy MC whiskers! If the bowl is too narrow it is uncomfortable for the cat to eat from. I have a few deep and wide bowls, just simple plastic ones I picked up at the dollar store!

I use Frontline currently and haven't had any issues yet with fleas, but it seems to lose its potency quickly and if you forget to apply it every month you could get into a buggy situation. The last time we had trouble we got a powerful perimeter spray from the vet and it actually worked! Its called Siphotrol Premise Spray, the company is called Vet Kem. Since then, we use Ortho Home Defense twice a year, which kills all kinds of critters and fleas. Of course use a flea comb every day, a few times a day, mop and sweep like crazy, and if all else fails call the exterminator (been there done that). Good luck!!!
