Very strange behaviour!, I'd like to know exactly what they think they are doing, I was wondering if its something to do with bowl size/height, perhaps they think they can bring the water closer to them to make drinking easier.
Hank does it really often now and i feel sorry for him sometimes as we'll fill up his bowl, and see him wanting a drink but then he'll pull 90% of it out into the kitchen floor, then have a couple of sips and the bowls empty again.. I don't think he's keen on licking up the puddle he's since created tho so we'll have to clean it up and refill his bowl hoping he'll get more next time! :-)
