Grooming
I've been really lucky with Gryfn. He loves to get brushed and I have sat down every night and given him a brush with a slicker brush. He will even roll over so I can brush his belly....
I hope it continues....
Charlie Brown on the other hand, prefers to attack the brush...
How easy are your cats to groom?

We do the same with Louie  I did'nt straight away with Milo & he hated it & did the same as Charlie Brown

Sarah is very good - she was a bit funny at first but I comb her every night and she thinks it is a treat and jumps on the bed every night and lies down to get combed. She even rolls over for her tummy and lies there when I pick up her legs to do under her arms. She has heaps of hair moving at the moment so good to stop any knots.
Zack just wants to play with the comb but he purrs when i do along his back so I think he will get used to it.
Timmy puts up with it for short periods and will stay if I put my hand on him. He is a domestic cat and his hair is very long and thick so I do a bit at a time

We have started with a soft brush on the boys to get them used to the brush, but we will need something to get through to their undercoat has any one tried a slicker brush or rake with any results?

I use a small slicker brush on Gryfn atm, but then his coat is still short. It works well.
I have a rake and also a larger slicker brush for when he's older.

I started the boys off with a soft bristle brush to get them used to the idea and have got them a slicker today which so far they don't seem to mind, howerver they have not been introduced to the comb I got at the same time yet!! Thats for around the ears which gets very straggly as they like to get it damp when they are wrestling bless them!
