New Kitten 13 Wk Old Kitten Arrives Tonight
Hi-Suzie G here,
We are meeting our new 13 wk old, male,MC kitten tonight at the airport after a long flight..(20 min car ride home)
Any quick words of advice for intros to our 2 elderly ,female short hair tabbies and 2 Golden Retrievers(8 yrs and 2yrs)
I have set up a safe room for the kitten.I am planning to carry him in his crate directly to this room/show him the cat box/offer water/food later in evening? Let him explore this room with scratch post/toys/hiding places/bed with blanket/other items? During this time I will let the older cats/dogs smell the carrier he traveled in.
Possibly sleep with him in this room first 2 nights?(comfort/bonding for him and me ,scent transfer?)
Any other quick advice for making his homecoming less stressful and as easy as possible for allfor all?
Thanks!

We just got our second MC. Both had long flights. I love your plan. We stayed in the kittens room so that she could bond with us instead of the other animals. We did this for 10 days.

Congratulations!!!
I can't imagine how stressed the kitten will be when your new boy will get there... Both of mine were in the car for about 15 minutes (from the breeder to us) and they both meowed their heads off....
