Hoping to adopt an adult cat
Hi all,
New to Maine Coons and we will be first time cat owners but long time animal lovers.
We absolutely love Maine coons and all of their positive personality traits and simply how stunning they are!
We are really keen on adopting an adult female (aged 2-4), Male if available but I realise that's less likely.
We are based in west London and own a 3 bed house with a small enclosed garden.
We do work full time but spend lots of time at home and would provide lots of love and affection. This is the main reason we want an adult that's happy with itself as opposed to a kitten.
I wonder if anyone here might have an adult cats or know someone who does,
Any help much appreciated,
Very best
James

Hello,
We've just got ourselves a two and a half year old girl Maine Coon. We found her on this site - Maine Coon Cats and Kittens for sale in the UK | Pets4Homes
The site seems good as there's some sound advice when it comes to buying (which I'd recommend reading - as in all things, there are sadly not so reputable folks out there). We exchanged a few emails, then a few phone calls and then arranged to meet to pick up our newest family member - very painless indeed.
We chose an older cat for the same reasons; we wanted a cat that was settled in itself and we too work and aren't always around 24 hours.
The best of luck - I'm sure you'll find your cat :-)
Cheers
