Very quiet here today
Poor Louie he does look as if he is trying hard to get comfy, looks as if he cracked it in the last picture.
Strange how they go so quiet when they have a growing spurt but do you find you don't make the most of it,to begin with you worry in case they are really ill & by the time you are convinced it is a growing spurt they are back to normal & the peace you could have enjoyed has gone....

Awwwww, kitties always find the sweetest places to cuddle! I just watched into the kitchen, and do you know where I found one of my cats? Sitting high up in my kitchen shelf with the water glasses! Don't know how she popped the door open, but she did

I have never noticed changes in sleeping patterns with our kittens relative to their growth spurts. While all of our cats have typical sleep patterns, they all have "abnormal" days from time to time. What we have seen with the kitten growth spurts is definite changes in appetite.
Relative to the initial photos...I note that we have had to make adjustments to several of our pieces of cat furniture to accommodate MCs. One with a hutch, I cut the door larger (and then had to fix the carpeting). Another one we removed the unused house on top so they instead had a large flat area to lie down, plus I lashed the two raised platforms together to make something large enough for the males. There is not a lot of reasonably priced cat furniture available that works well for 20lb MCs.
