Thread: Disappearing cat

Yesterday was such a lovely day all day and we were out in the garden for most of it along with Simba who spent the entire time either lazing around or chasing insects. In the evening though just before dinner it started to rain. We went in and brought Simba and the dogs in with us. A while later after we had eaten I wondered where Simba was cos I hadn't seen him for a while. We all searched the house but couldn't find him. I looked out the window and it was bucketing down and I suddenly got a fright that someone had accidently let him out. So out I go in the rain calling his name and rattling his treat box, running up and down and looking in all his favourite spots like a lunatic, getting soaked through and worried to death. Just as I was about to go in and get a search party together my son knocked on the window holding Simba up, all nice and dry inside! He had appeared from nowhere in the kitchen apparently while I was outside getting soaked. He looked nonplussed at us being frantic with worry. Where he was is a mystery but he is getting very good at hiding
