Wonderful comb for maine coons!
I have just bought a FURminator comb. It takes out loose undercoat and boy how it does!!!! The comb is like a curry comb for horses but smaller! Brisca doesn't mind being brushed with it and I'm sure she feels happier and cooler without half her coat. Her top coat is a lot softer too and hopefully it will stop any nasty matting. I am amazed just how much fur came out in a 2 minute brush! I would totally recommend it.
Wonderful comb for MC's !
I would luv to see a photo of Spike after going to to see the "Cat Wrangler",now that has conjured up a picture that would make you laugh, given me the giggles just thinking about it ...
Have to agree about the comb, it has worked well on the two of mine who have really thick dense coats, the show cats have already worked out though that they don't have to run & hide when that one comes out they just sit & watch with a smug look on their faces.
Wonderful comb for MC's !
We have problems grooming one of daughters cats, because she had to do him on her own & he was so big he ended up getting the better of her & if he decided it was a no go he would turn & bite her hand & at the same time stick all his claws into her arm making quite a mess of her,I could do a fair bit on my own with him by just scruffing him & laying across him to keep him down but could never get his tummy done,we now have an answer, one I never thought I would ever have to resort too with a MC,we muzzle him, bliss, what with that & the "wonder comb"we are really getting him sorted.
What we can't make out though is the fact that he used to go to shows & we had no problems bathing or preparing him so about a month ago we put him in the bath,he loved it,dried him with the hairdryer,he went into raptures, combed & brushed him like we would have done for a show,no problem, two days later daughter thought she would just comb him
as he had been so good & she ended up wearing him again, muzzle back on...
