    The deed is done!

I have today booked my pair in to be done. I am not too worried about Hector's wound afterwards but am a little worried about Roxy's.

Has anyone got any tips about protecting hers from rough and tumble play?

Louie had his op a couple of weeks ago & I picked him up just the way he went in apart from being a smidge lighter & very hungry Roxy will have a lampshade on so Hector may not bother her & wonder where she has been for a while as a strange creature has been wandering around the house

Yeah they will certainly let you know ! As for the spaying, when Poppy was done a couple of years ago and we had her kitten he seemed to know to keep his distance and left her well alone, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Our vet said that when we get our 2 'done', we should have them both done on the same day, so that they are in recovery together. Otherwise, one would come back from the vet smelling different, and so risk breaking the bond that they have. Sounds quite sensible.
