The best and the worst
Do you find the breed in general go from one extreme to the other, absolutely nutty one minute running about tearing havoc round the house.....
10 minutes later coming for fuss, making the sofa vibrate with her purring and just looking at you with pure love

I find this is exactly how it is with Oscar, mad as a march hare one minute, loving you and purring like a tractor the next!!

What a sweetie... she's adorable.
Did I see her biting your nose? Our Minnie does that too.
And yes, over here they can also suddenly go berserk for about 10 minutes. All three of them bouncing about the house at once. Our house is a split level with many small stairs, 6 to 7 steps each - to the Coonies the stairwell is one big climbing an jumping adventure. I often wonder what our next-door neighbours think when they hear the thumpety-thump-thump.
Then, suddenly they crash down in any old random place and fall asleep, pretending to be the most boring cats ever.

Yeah she bites my face- usually chin or nose, I'd like to think it's some kind of affection
I watch that video when she is being a little bugger and taunting our older cat, makes me remember how nice she really is

The best & the worst
Two of my six give you the full round neck cuddles but one of them insists that he wants to plant a great smacker on your lips also, lovely when you know he has just used the tray & washed himself,I have tried all ways to get out of it without hurting his feelings but the more you try to turn away the more he head butts you to get your face back to where he can get to you,I normally end up with the giggles because there he is with this dreamy look in his eye & at that point I know that I am going to have to give in & accept this wonderful show of affection. He also likes to give you kisses while you are still in bed, couldn't make out one morning why he was sitting behind me yowling his head off & when I turned over I got my smacker & he was fine, realised afterwards that I usually lay the other way & it threw him because he didn't have the sense to walk over to the other side of the bed,he is now known as the one side snogger.....

I don't get the hug and the smacker so much - my OH frequently gets his nose or chin licked, but Freyja rarely does that to me; she likes to lick my neck to wake me up in the morning. Or my collar bone, the inside of my elbow, and occasionally - when her whiskers don't warn me - my armpit. Which, let's be honest, is just wrong. I used to be jealous that OH got the nose licks, til I got a whiff of tuna-breath. Now when he's getting a good snog, I just snigger...
