Whoops Hector nearly had a bath!

After weeks of just sitting on the edge of the bath tonight Hector decided to investigate my bath water a little more closely. He was happily sniffing it at first then decided to taste it and finally thought that looks like something I can play with, he was having a great time flicking the water out with his paw then decided to get down. This is where he came unstuck! He had got the side of the bath yet with his game and as he turned to jump down slipped and his back legs went into the water. Cue a major giggle fit from me and one less than happy Hector! John had to then come and chase him to dry his legs off as I could not do anything for laughing. About five mins later he reappeared in the bathroom looked at me and stood there shaking his legs as if they were still dripping. I think it will be a while before he plays with my bath water again!

Ha ha, poor Hector! I've not tried the bath out with Freyja yet but she's fascinated by the shower and when I wash my hands in the sink. Several times she's slipped on the edge of the sink and got wet paws and that was comical enough... I'll have to try the bath once her stitches are out!

Storm did exactly the same!! He decided that the bubbles looked far too much fun and fell straight in! He jumped out and ran on to the landing trying to work out where the dripping was coming from.....before realising it was coming from his tail!!!

One of my girls loves to sit in the bath once it's been emptied and she comes out with soaking wet tail and paws

I had been playing with the cats in an empty bath and then the other week decided to actually have a bath.

Sarah saw me sitting in the bath and came flying into the bathroom and jumped straight into the bath - she didnt realise there would be water in there. She jumped out pretty quick but then ran around soaking wet for a while as she had gone all the way in. I laughed so much I nearly sunk in the water.

Mind you she was back in about 10 minutes to have a proper investigate?

Zack - ever so cautious - he sat outside the bathroom and watched

Sadly I missed Hector trying to run on the laminate floor in the dining room, apparently he was doing the cat version of wheel spinning as he was trying to run!
