What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever seen your cats eat?

In our Monty’s case, celeriac. I had been pulling threads from celeriac stems and left them on the worktop, thinking: “This stuff smells so strong they probably won’t touch it.” When I turned back from the stove Monty was on the worktop with lots of celeriac threads dangling from the corners of his mouth… as if he’d grown green whiskers!

Where do I begin?

My lot, Storm and Lola in particular, love crisps and will climb up onto your shoulders and pat your hands with their paws as you eat them! They also eat cereal, beans, pasta, prawn crackers....anything that isn't nailed down is fair game for them!

When some of mine went into a cattery, they all decided to eat the silicon sealant from the internal plastic and the cattery owner didn't realise until all these bizarre white lumps started appearing in the litter tray!

I thought wheetabix was odd, but brocolli and celeriac are a different class of odd...

And how's for odder still... Freyja won't eat raw mince beef, and I assumed she'd lap that up!

Both of ours love toast or muffins, but of course they will only eat it if its given to them in tiny pieces! I must show them how big their teeth are one day! As soon as Hector hears the toaster pop he is round your feet chatting away to you being all loving he is so shallow bless him.
