Wow what an amazing giant plume of a tail that is! One swish of the tornado would knock over anything in its path!

Heheh... that's a tail with a cat attached.
Our Monty had a scrawny tail as well when he was younger... we even used to make fun of it. But suddenly it kind of exploded into this giant plume (and ringed to boot so it's really reminiscent of a raccoon's tail).

Yes, they all seem to start off with a little piece of hairy string, then suddenly, out of nowhere, a giant fluffy tail appears!

MC Elvis started with a brush.
and went thru a couple of weeks where his favorite activity was chasing it 'round the scratching post at full speed and ripping out chunks of fur when he caught it.
His was as bare as Louie's when he tired of the game...
It's slowly growing back. Hopefully he's done with that particular amusement.

Now that is a tail with a cat! Gives me hope for our Monty's sorry excuse for a feather duster - it's more like a bit of string with fur on at the moment!
