Diary of Clevercloggs...
Today is the first time computer has stayed up long enough for me to be able to watch film clip, what a difference in her you must be so proud & towards the end when her paws started spreading out & padding thats a sure sign of a contented MC,only one way to keep going now,up,up,up.
Will so look forward to seeing her as a proud mum in due course....

There is much on this forum about this cat and the person that had her, she was not injured, just badly neglected, and bred off by a breeder, who was only supposed to be taking care of her for a short time while she waited for the 3 week quarantine required by law!!
This woman was only motivated by money she bred off her, with out permission and consent. from the owner which was me. and it took me almost 9 months to get her back through COURT.
There was a website, which is down for the moment, but there is enough information on this forum to catch up, or you could private message me.

I am, the look of interest in her eyes for the first time on the goings on, around her, she cuddles with the kitties... specially the little Aby girl and I am sure when she is ready she will be the most amazing mum.... and we can not wait for that time to show the photos of her and her new babies, one day she will be ready to be mated!! Amber has already decided to keep a girl from her as she is getting her self a stunning new Brown tabby male boy, in 2011.. so that will be all her girls new Boyfriend...
Mimi the other girl, that was kept in this terrible way too, lives with Jet she is twice the size she was and although still quite skittish she is settling down so well.. Jet is such an easy going lad always demanding attention.. so when you give it to him she actually comes now to you for her turn... As its getting cold now they get every evening now their winter warmer of soaked kitten biscuits with cooked chicken and gravy... and she is the first to ask for it.. Jet can have some too... if there is some left!!
Its been a hell of a year for us and both cats... but now we see light at the end of the tunnel....

I am glad that the cat was not injured in any way. I have not seen any website about her but maybe when its up and running again I can catch up on the full story.
I did see on another one of your posting that she had kittens in July which I had replied too saying that waiting for a whole year before mating her again would be the best course of action, this will give her time to heal and recover from whatever her ordeal was.

I have just looked at the link and read some of what appears to have happened to Corgan, I don't understand what neglect there was, but I think you should not worry too much she was just upset and stressed at moving house not of loosing her babies as adult cats are not very happy when their environment is changed and it must have been very scarey for her also to have to meet other cats she did not know.
My breeder friend said cats do loose babies in some circumstances but soon perk up afterwards they are not the type of animal that will mope for weeks/months looking for kittens that are gone, usually they will just start calling again.
As you have said she is now settling down and playing which is usually what happens eventually with an adult cat in a strange house with strange cats, by next summer she will be well adjusted and ready for a boyfriend.

Thats is your own opinion, you did not have the fact there of what has really happened, so we will leave it at that, I will not discuss this woman any more on this forum, and as a breeder of 32 years experience I know what cats do when hey have lost kittens, so as you say get over it ... some actually go a little crazy, and having bred the orientals of the breed way back in the past I understand corrigan completely...
Actually this adult was not with strange cat she was by her self she was put with "strange" cats as you state when I had tried everything else to settle her.. Like I said if you knew what had happened to her you would not make this comment as above, the strange cats have actually made her come around..
I will leave this at that, now as you need to have the full picture before you can make comments
