Hectors obsession
The couple of times Shimba got a fish out of the pond, before we managed to get it all covered,he just went off into the pen & sat with it in his mouth, the first time it looks as if he had fished it out but the second one we think lept out during a bit of courting & him picking it up most probaly saved its life because I obviously went out to see what was hanging from his mouth & rescued it,no problem he just dropped it into my hands when asked but I do hate the feel of them so was very happy to get it back into rightful place.Had no problems since pond has been covered but you still see the 2nd rescued one leaping up during the summer but happily drops back where it should, the boys just have fun now sitting on the cover & watching....

Hectors obsession
My breeder friend has a mat that you lay across where you don't want them to go,apparently it makes one h*** of a din so wouldn't let her test it for me to hear
but it is working very well at stopping her brood from going on the table...

Thanks he is a terror! They have been enjoying the nice day in the garden till Hector decided to hop over the wall into the drive and thought it was great fun to hide under Dad's work vanand it took us a good five mins to get him to come out. Banished to the house again so Roxy is now chasing him round the house as if to say it's your fault we have had to come in

Whenever our three are in the garden we are always terrified that they’ll hop over the fence. We still haven’t got round to climb-proofing the fences, so we must be constantly on our guard.
That’s a nice pic of Hector in the garden. His coat is very much like Minnie’s.Last edited by Antonia; 17th October 2010 at 04:19 PM.

Hectors obsession
Hi Helen, busy shift but pretty good,we normally start at nine but actually kicked off at 8.40am because there were people who just turned up already waiting for us & we finished at midday & that is with no breaks at all,the last few consults put pressure on the "keep smiling bit"as just a couple of sips of cold coffee doesn't help with the old blood sugar but we all made it,three whole weekends off now......
