    Homemade cat tree

After much research we decided to try and make a homemade cat tree and as promised, here are some pictures of the tree so far. My partner's had the day off work and managed to make quite good progress . It has the first platform in place and another 3 (I think) will be fixed onto the wall further up. Here is what we've spent on it so far:

Tree branch (free from the forest floor!)
150ft sisal rope from ebay - £9 (not sure if we'll use all that)
    contact cement -£8
    off cut of carpet- £10
    metal brackets- 40p each
ply wood- had this already so technically £0

I'll put some more pics up once it's finished.
