Compared to a lot on here we kept ours pretty local, the furthest was 170 miles & the closest just round the corner until she moved & then we had to travel all of about five miles...
About 60 miles for both of ours, but worth every penny spent on petrol! :o)
260 miles/4.5 hours each way, and we had to go twice because the first time we got Chloe and her mum who sadly got ill and died of feline corona virus within a few days of getting her so we did the journey again to get Theo.
On the way home, Theo sat on my lap and looked out the window!
Hi
Mine were about 450 miles away but they were both flown over.
I thought better the 1 hr flight than 7 -8 hrs in a car
Our breeder is local, only 15 minutes' drive across the city, very lucky there.
I travelled from Gravesend, Kent to Bodmin, Cornwall - approximately 540 miles. Although I can't claim any sort of record as I have a friend in Scotland who has been to the same breeder to collect 5 cats (at three different times) - a journey of over 1,000 miles each time :suprised:
I'm a bit like Howlinbob - my breeder's pretty local and I can get to her in 45 minutes unless traffic is bad. I would have travelled further had I not struck it lucky with my breeder though!
In the same lucky position as karen Freyja & wicca!! My Breeder only 45 mins away, but would of also travelled futher if needs been!!
