How cats drink
NY Times has article describing new research into how cats use their tongues to drink. Not at all how you might think (nor how dogs do it):

Thanks for posting those - the NYtimes link was fascinating, I assumed cats used the liquid's miniscus (think I've spelled that wrong!) on their hooked tongues! Interesting they used the term 'elegant' to describe a cats drinking method; Freyja gets milk and vitamin drink all over the floor/worktop when she laps that up!
