Yes it will be the same breeder as sylvie is from but I didn't get sylvie straight from his breeder, but from a family who couldn't keep him anymore. I'm going to have a look at what cats are available on thurs night! Will be nice to see where sylvie came from, and I think his daddy is still there! The breeder says she has a little black boy who turned out too small to stud and that he may be suitable. Can't wait. :)Quote:

We've ended up choosing a kitten! The adult cats we saw were all a little bit timid but there was this cock eyed little male kitten who really took my partner's fancy (I liked a gorgeous deaf white kitten) so we've gone with him. We pick him up tomorrow- we have to think of a name now. I hope sylvester takes to him and isn't too upset!
This sooo rings true for me too Karen! We introduced little Monty to the family when Gracie was almost 5 months old and had ruled the roost with us for 2 months. We had about a week's worth of hissy pants behaviour from Gracie towards the new 13 week old bundle of mischief but this very quickly settled into them being inseperable - the sight of them grooming each other now still makes me go all gooey inside!Quote:

This did pass though after a few weeks and now I have to say she is probably better than before. Monty is such a purr monster and she does seem to have learned by example that cuddles and mummy time are really quite a good thing! It's great fun to watch them playing together and whilst we do still get involved and down and dirty with them a lot of the time, it's actually quite a relief to be able to get on with things like time on the laptop without them climbing all over it demanding attention because they have each other to keep themselves occupied!
Ooooeerrrrrr this has turned into quite a ramble now - sorry! Just to say good luck with your lovely new furbaby, I expect to see lots and lots of pics. I really hope it goes well, and I'm sure that it will - but be prepared for some resentment - you may be very lucky but if not, rest assured, it will more than likely pass!

Exciting news - when do you pick him up? Some good names in your list - I love Pootle and Borris, and I'm a closet Goth so I like Gargoyle too. I've got a resin Gargoyle that sits in our lounge and he's called Whisper - that might have been a good one if you'd got the deaf kitten! Whatever you name him will be perfect though - looking forward to seeing some pics soon xQuote:

The little cat is so greedy! He ate an amazing amount yesterday as he kept stealing sylvie's food. My breakfast isn't even safe with this one around. He's been swinging from the top platform of the tree and chasing sylvie up and down the stairs. He seems really settled already, only problem is that he seems to have a bit of a sniffle and a weepy eye- he had his last vaccination just before we picked him up.
