my return from holiday

I have not been on the forum for some time so its nice to catch up on all the interesting postings. I have actually been on a lovely holiday in Exmouth staying with friends who also has Mainecoons actually four of them and beautiful they are too.

Since I have returned I have been informed by a Siamese breeder friend that a Blog which talks about this forum mentions my name regarding my postings on this forum. I was very upset to read that it was thought by Debbie that ‘I knew full well the story of her cat’ and that I was in fact somebody else acting on their behalf, what on earth is going on here.

I am new to this forum therefore how could I possibly know everything that has been previously put*on the site.*I have posted quite a few times on different subjects so why on earth would she think I was someone else!!*What would be the point of that?*

This is madness and hurtful as I have found the forum helpful and interesting and it sounds like some nice breeders use it but of course we do not all know each others private details and why should we but just so that you now know Debbie. My name is Susan Brown I live in Wiltshire, I work part time, have two moggies and two Mainecoons one rabbit and two dogs, my hobby is my pets and gardening*I like to visit Salisbury and the pet centre at Porton for my pet things. Is that enough information for you? *

I do hope that this posting is not deleted as there is no malice at all just confusion and wanting an answer which for me as a Mainecoon owner and member of this forum I should be able to get.*

Anyone that knew the story of my cats and also the information they read given that my cats where held by a woman who did not own them, she bred off one of my cats and then claimed to have thrown the kittens she then claimed Died in the rubbish bin.


It has been on this forum for everyone to read, now I did say to you in a previous posting that I would be happy to show you off forum the emails and letters, you just went ahead in your posting and said that My cat was not neglected and or abused. I and many others disagree.


You have been yet again placed on a website with this statement you have written here, If I have wrongly accused you that was not my intention, and for this I apologise, the person involved has had so many usernames, and it seems very strange that anything negative about this person has not been placed on there just anything they deem as negative:

Thank you Debbie for your apology it is appreciated although you are still saying in that apology that in my earlier post I stated that your cat was NOT neglected or abused I did not say that at all.
I think you were just over reacting at my posting for some reason, but as I have already said I was only trying to help as I had the impression by several of your postings during that time that you were a new breeder and not sure of what to do on certain aspects.

I am not a new breeder, Just by looking at my link and following this to my website you would have clarified this for your self.

I asked for members as in MAINECOON breeders, and experience owners, who could possibly have had experience with breeding cats that had been treated like this, as I breeder I may be, but not the kind of breeder that does what has been done to these girl, most on this forum, that have posted about them and indeed most of the Mainecoon Breeders in general KNOW my cats were neglected, and this was part of a court case.


I was in not nasty in my reply to you, in the first instance I merely clarified that I and others disagreed with one of your points,( This is what open chat and discussion on a forum is all about) the others point you stated was indeed backed up from others and this was to wait for a year to breed Corrigan which is what I always wanted to do, but given her stressed state, which is not so now since I introduced her to my young babies. I was unsure of the action to take, as I have never been in this horrible situation with a cat until NOW.

I also stated that you could email me off line for any clarity that you required regarding this matter so that it was not for open discussion on a forum that, These evil people can copy and paste for their own use!

I will not be replying to anything concerning my Mainecoons on this forum, other than to show updates on Corrigan and Mimi progress, which you will see many members here like to see!

Hi Susan; I used to live in Exmouth! I can't believe what 'they' have done to the Strand... they've cut most of the beautiful trees down!!!

What were the names of your friends cats, as I sold a lovely cream boy to a family from Exmouth, his name was Roddy, I'd like to know if it is him, how he is doing... I'm a bit of a saddo actually as I really love feed back on 'my' kitz and I don't always get any!

I like Exmouth and walking on the beach and we enjoy going round the town. Things have changed quite a lot especially all those new houses etc that has been built near the water by the car park, but as we have never lived there I guess it does not affect us in the same way as it would you, its always hard looking back at how things use to be.
My friends cats are called Jazzy Angel Jacob and Soppy they are getting old now I think ranging from 9-12 yrs
