Two in a bed...!
Shimba just luvs his hammock but tradgedy struck & bit of repair work is required,my friend gave me hers but it is not the same,to Shimba that is,although they are identical he has only been in it twice & that was me putting him there & he wasn't happy & hasn't been in it since.I washed his other one & had it on the airer & it was sad to see him take it off down the hall & lay on it as if it was his long lost friend back so over the weekend I am going to have to sort it out so he can have the luv of his life back.
Meanwhile he has decided the lower basket will do,thats Wellys favourite, problems,so today Welly decided to get in with Shimba, then tried pushing him out, when that failed they cuddled up together for a couple of hours & then Shimba rounded off their togetherness by giving bruv a good head & neck wash, can't all be that bad having to share ....!

Still got bad cough Candes, think its mean of the OH if he doesn't get you something to help it & I don't mean cough meddy.
Yes Fozzie I think you should go for two, eventually you will no matter what you think now & to have them grow up together is fun for them both, even though to begin with there might be a few problems, well worth it as FreyjaRoMaine has found out...x

Fozzie, Jackie's right... you WILL succumb in the end... I did, Rachel-C did, Catlover has, Jolly and King Edmund are both going to when the hunt for their MC number 2's are up... I was only ever going to get one. But every time I saw photo's or stories from Howlinbob about Monty and Larry, or Jackie's stories about Welly and Shims, it made me want a playmate for Freyja. And yes, it was a couple of weeks of abject misery when Wicca first came home, but it was SO worth it.
In case I've not got my message across yet, I say Go For It!

I keep my cats in small groups, boys and girls are kept separate except for this time of year when the girls most definately aren't calling, then I put three girls and two boys (ones a neuter) all together and they all get on really well. I have three girls indoors all the time and if one goes out for the day the other two don't eat until the wanderer returns. I wish I could have them all indoors, as they are all such good company, but they'd wreck the joint, we had 18 coonies at one time in a cottage... it didn't work out that well for the house!

Yes, yes yes. We were only going to get one kitten, but as it turned out, I only had to wait 1 week before we got Monty, Larry's brother. So their bond was still intact and they are inseperable. The moons and the stars aligned in our favour and the lady who had reserved Monty was discovered to be attempting unregistered breeding. Then another lady reserved him as a pet but the breeder let her down in our favour at the eleventh hour, because she wanted Monty to grow up with his brother. So by the very skin of our teeth, we ended up with Mont. It could be the best thing we ever did (well, apart from going to uni, buying our house, getting a job, and all that).
So, don't waste any more time, get viewing!
