Well I tried, Roxy looked out through the door and shot behind the sofa as if to say Mum you have got to be joking, Hector just stood with his head out of the door. I grabbed him and plonked him down on the lawn, pointed the camera at him just in time to get a shot of his tail as he legged it back into the house. My two are hothouse flowers I fear

I, too, appear to have fair-weather Coonies... I gave it one last shot today as the snow was deep enough for them to have a some real fun. No-one will be surprised to hear that Wicca shot out of the back door to take a look, got one cold paw in the snow on the edge of the patio, and ground to a halt... again. Freyja took one look at me, the open door, the snow and the camera and bolted. She's got me well sussed, shrewd little puss.
What are the odds that I could get two Coonies that never read the "How To Be A Coonie" manual??? Hey ho, I'll just have to carry on enjoying everyone else's MC's in the snow!

Here are some pics from snowy Sheffield! Larry was out as well, but he wasn't as keen.

Snow happy babes
Did Monty use his tail to brush the path of snow as he went along...?
My two babes were lucky to have more snow fall overnight so they went out for another play but I think they would be very jealous if they saw how much Monty & Larry had to enjoy....

I'm really surprised at how Hank has failed to cope with the snow.. Aside from being a bit of a wuss with it, which I can understand as he's in most the time so it's all new to him, he just doesn't seem to be well equiped for it..... which is what I don't understand..
I thought they were bred for these harsh snowy conditions and would thrive, instead as his sense of balance isnt the best, watching him jump onto one of our outside chairs and slide across and off the other side of it was the furthest away from grace you could get lol, but seriously the fur, I thought the long fur was to keep them warm but when he went out for a few minutes and came running back in carrying half the gardens snow in on his underbelly and backside I couldn't help feeling sorry for him.. it really clumped up on to my poor little bear.

Snow happy babes
Our boys have been able to go out & enjoy themselves again today as once again snow has descended on us, they were very pleased though to just receive this photo of their Uncle Ozzy over in Shropshire being able to have fun in the white stuff too.....
