Don't they look fab in the snow!
There's only the thinnest layer of snow over here, and quite a freezing wind to boot. So we'll wait until there's more snow and less wind before we'll let them have their first outside snow-experience. They were looking out of the window really curiously when the snow started falling... never seen anything like it before.
@Steve Morgan - I'd love to see pics of Raggles going snow-mad... he looks a lot like El Monto.

We've got narrow window ledges in the bedrooms - too narrow for MC's to squeeze their buts on, so put a shelf up a few months ago so they could watch the birds in the trees and the cars go by. Both girls were staring out the window this morning watching big fat snowdrops blow against the glass and had me in hysterics whilst they tried to catch them! Didn't have the camera handy, sadly.
Took them both outside an hour or so ago - Wicca was mildly curious, but was more amused by the novelty of running headlong from the dining room at the front of the house, through the kitchen at the back of the house and straight out onto the patio, where she ground to a halt before sailing straight off the covered patio and into the snow. There she sat, watching the snow fall but not quite being brave enough to get wet paws.
Freyja, on the other hand, was a complete wuss. Had to carry her outside, where she wriggled to get down, and when I stood in the middle of the snow she suddenly became a limpet and refused to let go of me. When I finally got her to extract her claws from my coat and gently put her down on the lawn, she shot off like her bum was on fire, straight indoors. She was gone so fast we didn't even get chance to pick the camera up, let alone turn it on! And all the ones of Wicca had me standing in them, so they will NOT be posted until I've dug out photoshop!

It's starting to come down here, but I have been banned from going on the paths in the garden as it is icy under the snow so I hope it's still light when the OH comes in from work so I can get some photos, before he gets the rock salt spread.
I will have to clean the patio doors in the dining room though as they have been glued to since the big flakes started to come down and are trying to catch the flakes bless

Me thinks Gracie and Freyja really could be good friends - sometimes you describe her and I can picture Freyja! The Monster looks so cute in the snow - they all look so much more 'lion like' when you see them outside. And the snow really shows off his lovely colouring - more pics when you get chance please!

Little Monty is a picture, in his smart little harness! Looks like he doesn't mind it too much. I never had much success with my 2 in harnesses: Larry would wriggle out of his in 5 seconds, and Monty was so horrified by it that he would freeze (sigh!) So we enclosed the garden!

He was fine with it once he stopped trying to chase the lead, but then he's such a fearless little bugger the thought of investigating the big outdoors for the very first time certainly took his mind off things. Gracie on the other hand was a different matter altogether. The first time I tried her in it she quite literally climbed the walls in a frenzy - the second time she was much calmer, and braved going outside for a sniff - until she decided to leap directly from the patio table straight into the barrel pond!!!
