Thread: Snow day...

The snow is really bad here in Sheffield. For the first time ever we are effectively 'snowed in'. I opened the front door to a good foot and a half of snow piled up. I was going to go down the road to see if the buses are running and get some supplies, but after clearing the snow off the door and the first couple of steps, I found that the door would not shut properly. Nothing blocking it, just swollen wood. Then my boss rang and said, don't come in, all the schools are shut. So I'm on a snow day. It's still snowing heavily and is expected to continue today and tomorrow.

Intrepid Monty ran into the garden whilst I was shovelling, and he was shocked to find the snow coming up to his chin! So he flew back inside with 3 or 4 great leaps!
