That 'meow' came from the next door, not Dyman.
Dyman's meow (if you can call it a 'meow') sounds more scratchy and coarse.... like someone having a terrible sore throat and trying to speak.
He has been very naughty for the past few days..... biting and scratching my arms!!!!!!!
I keep raising my voice each time he bites and he backs off. I am not too sure if he playing or not. The odd thing is that my Rocco (also a brown/black tabby) was scratching and biting when he was close to one year old.
He is gaining weight again.... today his weight is 5.83kg!... but physically, he still looks skinny.Proudly owned by:

Dyman's quarantine
He sure liked his kibble more than playing today mum.
Not many more doors to open up on the advent calender before you get the best prezzie ever.
I wonder what your other cats think, have they got to know him through smell alone & wonder if there is ever goung to be a furry appear to go with it,must be very weird for them having you go off every day & come back with the scent of a stranger.....

Awww, the darling boy! Love it how he chases the biscuits.
Has he stopped biting and scratching?
Just a little over a week to go now...

He is the quiet type.... on my daily visits, when I am approaching near to his 'cell' (3 or 4 cells away) he will start calling softly as if he knows it's me.
I have been introducing Rocco & Merlin using their accumulated fur from the brush for Dyman to smell (vice versa) everyday. Rocco is more interested. Merlin could care less. Dyman totally uninterested. I have been doing this since his first day at the quarantine.
That's how I did it with Rocco when Merlin was in quarantine.
This is about the only useful thing out of having the quarantine.
11 days to go........

Thanks!
Just came home from the quarantine station and he is doing well considering he had diarrhea 4 times the last 4 weeks. The vet thinks it due to stress. His fur looks shorter now than when he first arrived (maybe I overdid it with the daily brushings! LOL!).
Friday would be my last official day of visitation and I will go pick him up on Christmas morning. Keeping my fingers crossed that Rocco would get along with Dyman as I can see that they are quite similar in 'temperament'.
He has filled out quite a bit as his weight today is 6.20kg... gained 1kg in 27 days.
I am totally exhausted but very excited... 2 more days to go!!!!

Dyman's quarantine
Hi Crazycoons, won't it be great when you can enjoy all your babes under the one roof, the others must be getting fed up with mum disappearing & coming home with smells of the furry they haven't yet met.
I wouldn't worry about the over grooming by you,if he is starting to stress a bit then he most probaly is over grooming himself & the coat takes on a short, what we call "barbered"look, tends to slightly stick up in places & can even feel a bit rough, all will soon sort itself out I am sure.....
