Belated Merry Christmas!!!!
Hello everyone,
A Very Merry Christmas to one and all....
It's been very chaotic here since Dyman's arrival.
Introductions were made and seems that they would all get along... at least that's what I was led to believe.
I thought I had to 'protect' Dyman from Rocco and Merlin but Dyman seems extremely comfortable and relaxed in the apartment which sorta made Rocco and Merlin uneasy.
To summarize, Rocco and Merlin is being terrorized by Dyman and the both of them are hiding and running away from Dyman. He growls if and when Rocco or Merlin passes by and he actually attacked and bit Merlin on his butt last night without any provocation from Merlin.
OH is not too happy as I have been sleeping in the living room for the past 2 nights with Dyman while Rocco and Merlin slept in their own room. I thought perhaps I can leave the 3 of them together tonight but the situation this morning is still very tense. Rocco and Merlin is still hiding in my bedroom while Dyman is roaming the entire apartment.
Don't get me wrong, Dyman is very sweet and loving towards humans but not so much towards his own kind.
I am open to suggestion and ideas from you guys as what I should be doing to help improve the situation. It is very stressful for me to see Rocco and Merlin being stressed out by Dyman.
Dyman turned 10 months old as of yesterday and Merlin turned 26 months old on Christmas day.Proudly owned by:

First of all, congratulations on finally having Dyman home where he belongs! It must be such a relief for you.
But the poor chappy has been cooped up in this quarantine cell for ages. All by himself save for your daily visits when he got oodles of exclusive attention… which he now has to share! No wonder he’s a bit miffed (to put it mildly).
Like candes says, take it slowly… one step at a time. I’m sure all three will see eye to eye soon.
Good luck and keep us posted!

Hi candes and Antonia,
Thanks!
Yes, what candes said made sense. I was so worried and caught up in hoping there would be peace among the 3 of them that it slipped my mind what Dyman went through to be here with me. He squeals whenever I am out of his sight.
Will keep you all posted.
Cheers!Proudly owned by:

Hey, how cool he's finally home
Sorry to hear about the not-unexpected trauma of the new arrival. I remember being stressed being belief when Wicca first arrived because Freyja changed so much, I didn't recognise her. The prospect of having two freak out at the arrival of a third is one of the things that's putting me off getting another one, so you have my sympathies.
Fingers crossed things will sort themselves out soon enough - my breeder explained to me that she's never known an MC to not get along with other cats and she's been breeding for years, which gave me confidence a few months ago, so take heart - you might be in for a bumpy week or two but should settle down soon enough. Candes's point about Dyman's isolation is a valid one and definitely worth thinking about.
Keep us posted, we'll be thinking of you

Been looking forward to catching up on your boys arrival & feel sorry that things haven't gone too smoothly but I am sure like others that given time all will be well.I think that when they are a bit more mature they do seem to come into the family with more of an attitude. We have had the hissing & growls with bringing the last babes in but with Merlyn because of a holiday that had been booked before his "birth" we left him with the breeder & he didn't join us until he was coming up to four months of age & he had spent a lot of time with the breeders husband,he just came in as if he owned the place, frightened the others out into the hall & no way was he going to let them in,he just had this look that said I am here & I will do what I want, you lot bugger off & don't come near me,it was a bit upsetting & for a while I didn't have the love for him that I should have because I hated seeing this little upstart behaving so nasty,I did sleep him away from the others for a few nights & we tried to be around with them all during the day but in the end I let them all just get on with it,things seemed worse if we were hovering & I think my nervousness was being picked up,one night we packed him off to bed with the others & in the morning they trooped out reasonably happy, the water spray was used on occasions if things got too out of hand because I found that voice stirred things up more but eventually feline luv won round.Your boy has had a lot of one to one attention from you he has now got to learn to share..... It will get better,he is a MC x

Happy New Year to one and all!!!!!!!
Dyman is gaining weight by the day!!!! Gained 400gm since he came home a week ago.
He is getting along with Merlin, but not with Rocco. Rocco is the 'King' of the house, so I think Dyman is challenging him for that title.... but I don't think Rocco is ready to give up that position. We'll see how it goes.........
Meanwhile here is a pix of Dyman taken yesterday.Proudly owned by:
