Hector gets sooo excited when something is delivered and drives me mad until it's been opened! I have to peel the tape off as I dare not use anything with a blade as his head is under my hand nudging it to try to make me go faster!!
The worst problem I have had is when I had a delivery for them and it had been packed badly with boxes of cat food on top of a paper sack of litter, I took photo's of the damage turned to put the camera down and Mr I love a clean litter tray had jumped in and tinkled thankfully it was a clumping litter I was trying out

Anyone order a coonie
Lovely fun photos, still a bit sickening to see great wrapped pressies in the box too, couldn't she help to rearrange those slightly as well,I am sure they don't need all that ribbon around them...!
If candes refuses to accept delivery when it arrives it can be re-directed here.

Very funny pics...
Btw, has anyone else noticed: the smaller the box is, the more eager they are to try and squeeze their bums into it?

haha, this did make me laugh!
Candes - I did try and secure the box in order to put your address label on the box but Monty's paw tufts kept getting stuck in the Sellotape!!!
JCK - the "beautifully" wrapped presents are only that at a distance - trust me on closer inspection they now all have the trademark kitten teeth punch holes c/o the Monster and the ends of all the ribbons have well and truly been munched by Diva Gracie - the dining room table has been their very own adventure playground for the last fortnight!

Speaking of boxes... yesterday we had a new laser printer delivered. Of course it came with an instruction, which I think should be rewritten for cat owners.
(1) Remove cat (or as many cats as necessary) from top of box.
(2) Find scissors.
(3) See step 1.
(4) Cut open box.
(5) Remove cat (or as many cats as necessary) from interior of box.
(6) Quickly remove all the bubble wrapping from box and throw it as far away as possible in the hope cat(s) will chase it and not bother you for a minute or two. Revert to step 5 if needed.
(7) Remove printer from box.
(8) Again quickly, take empty box to farthest corner of house and hope kittie(s) will stay inside it long enough for you to install printer.
(9) Watch kittie(s) flock around printer, sniffing it, pawing it, and jump on top of it.
Which is exactly what happened over here yesterday. Should have taken pics, really.
